Here it is an extract of a report published in the magazine “Fastener Eurasia” concerning the import / export of locks, tools, screws and bolts.

Exports from Turkey in the sector of screws and bolts, HS code 7318, increased by 13.3% from January 2017 to October 2017 compared to the same period of 2016; from 487 to 552 Mil. $.
Germany in particular recorded + 19.59%;

Imports, again for the same period, had a decrease of 2.43%, from 713 million dollars against the 731 of the previous year. However, they remain far superior to the exports.

Among other things, it is highlighted that imports from France in the period January-September 2017 increased on the fastener item HS code 7318 (by 7.86%) compared to January-September 2016; imports from Taiwan have passed the most significant decrease of the HS code 7318 ( - 19.55%).
