This is the smallest type of screw used in tinsmithery and in the construction industry, particularly for:
- stitching two metal sheets
- fixing the frame profiles to the metal retaining walls
- fixing the most common industrial ducting works
Their point has a special shape, called ''needle'', which allows medium to low thickness sheet metal drilling simply using battery cordless screwdrivers. One further feature is the double thread, which speeds up screwing and therefore reduces the operator''s thrust force. Only one thread reaches the tip. Various galvanic treatments can be carried out upon request.
