Os pinos de soldadura são fixadores selecionados principalmente devido à sua soldabilidade. Ao determinar a capacidade de carga dos pinos de soldadura, deve ter-se em conta a sua resistência inerente, a parte na qual os pinos são soldados e a função pretendida. Os pinos de soldadura para esticadores estão abrangidos pela norma DIN 34828. Os pinos de soldadura podem ser fabricados tanto com um diâmetro da haste ˜ diâmetro da rosca como com um diâmetro da haste ˜ diâmetro do passo. Isto não prejudica a capacidade de carga, uma vez que os valores de resistência são especificados com base na área de tensão da rosca (ver DIN-EN-ISO 898-1).
