Wkrety bez lba z plaskim koncem sa stosowane glównie tam, gdzie czesci musza byc czesto nastawiane, poniewaz powoduja niewielkie lub zadne uszkodzenia czesci, na której sa zamocowane. Stosowane sa równiez na hartowanych walach ze szlifowanymi powierzchniami plaskimi dla lepszego kontaktu oraz jako sruby regulacyjne.
