UNI EN ISO 15483 Standard Dimensions for

This standard (DIN 15483 and equivalents) specifies the characteristics of cross recessed raised countersunk head drilling screws with tapping screw thread from ST2,9 to ST6,3 included.

The self drilling screws are mainly used for fastening sheet metals without a previous hole and are the screws themselves which bore into the sheets and subsequently fasten both plates.
