ISO 15481 Standard Dimensions for

This standard (DIN 15481 and equivalents) specifies the characteristics of cross recessed pan head drilling screws with tapping screws thread from ST2,9 to ST6,3 included.

The self drilling screws are mainly used for fastening sheet metals without a previous hole and are the screws themselves which bore into the sheets and subsequently fasten both plates.
