ISO 15480 Standard Dimensions for

This standard (DIN 15480 and equivalents) specifies the characteristics of hexagon washer head drilling screws with tapping threadfrom ST2,9 to ST6,3 included.

The self drilling screws are mainly used for fastening sheet metals without a previous hole and are the screws themselves which bore into the sheets and subsequently fasten both plates.
