Company Profile
In 1933, when Hugo Benzing founded the firm that bears his name, he had already anticipated the profound changes which retaining and locking parts would bring about in the world of technology. For that reason he concentrated his creative efforts in that field. Amongst other things he initiated the development of a profile-grinding machine which, for the first time, made it possible to manufacture non-circular shapes. His inventiveness and creative drive also led to the manufacture of the DIN 6799 circlip, which was patented by the Benzing company. Many other proprietary rights and patents followed because, in the spirit of our founder, we are constantly working on developing new technologies and products for our clients. Our customers are found in every imaginable field - automotive and aerospace industries are as well represented as those in the precision mechanics and electrotechnical industries. Wherever something moves in the world, BENZING components are almost involved.
Not to be forgotten
All BENZING products are manufactured on in-house designed tools. Through constant monitoring by our staff and, backed up by a statistical quality control system, we can ensure that our production maintains consistent quality standards which are without parallel elsewhere in the world and which have already won us many awards. Our staff are regularly retrained to familiarise themselves with new manufacturing techniques and new products. With the benefit of state-of-the-art machinery and technology we are able to produce extremely long-lasting products which have been precision worked to the thousandth of a millimetre. It is not without reason that our motto has always been "Safe is sure, sure is safe".
