The manufacturing capability allows economical production of low volume batches. Heat treatment facilities are atmosphere controlled to ensure that parts are within tolerance limits for decarburisation and carburization. Our fully calibrated mechanical testing centre ensures that parts are to the highest quality. The heat treatment plant consists of two sealed quench batch furnaces for the larger product and three fully automated shaker hearth lanes for smaller, high volume products of less than 20mm diameter. Other in-plant facilities include phosphate coating and subsequent de-embrittlement.
