Niniejsza norma (DIN 662) ma zastosowanie do nitów z lbem grzybkowym o srednicach nominalnych od 1,6 do 6 mm. Osadzanie nitów pelnych odbywa sie poprzez przeciagniecie nitu przez material, który ma byc zamocowany, a nastepnie odksztalcenie konca trzpienia lub zalozenie podkladki antypowrotnej. Odksztalcenie mozna uzyskac poprzez mlotkowanie, prasowanie lub nitowanie wirowe.
