Kilton is happy to announce the acquisition and start-up of its new automated storage unit, which aims to boost the logistics capacity and meet the needs of an ever-changing global market, in a faster and more flexible way. The new plant, located close to the main factory, adds over 1,200 pallet spaces to the company's logistics capacity, and represents a strategic investment in business continuity, delivery speed and intelligent stock management.
“Our industry is moving increasingly fast, and we want to be ready to react with efficiency and accuracy," stated company owner Silvano Chiello. “With the new logistics location, we are more flexible and competitive.”
The unit is designed to fit with the existing tracking and order management systems, particularly supporting the screw line. It is not only a modern and functional structure, but also a symbol of the company's green commitment: the entire building is powered by a system of photovoltaic panels, which reduce the environmental impact and concretely contribute to the energy sustainability of the production cycle.
