Mecavit is specialised in the production of cross recessed screws and socket head screws in iron, hardened and tempered carbon steel and stainless steel A2 in accordance with norms but also in the manufacturing of special products. The manufacturing processeses are developed through modern technologies with multiple presses with 2, 4 and 6 dies which allow to offer flexibility and reliability.

The Company Quality System is certified in accordance with the norms UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 “VISION” carried out by TÜV Italia, and come to the third annual renewal. The raw materials and the related coatings are in compliance with the European Directives 2000/53/CE – 2002/95/CE (RoHS). -Zinc plating with white passivation: free from Chrome VI; -Zinc plating with yellow passivation: free from Chrome VI; -Zinc plating with black passivation: with Chrome VI; -Zinc plating with olive green passivation: with from Chrome VI; -Dacromet : also for this coating it is not possible to eliminate the chrome VI, but we can offer alternative coatings without chrome VI.
